These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the XtoSCORM website and services ("Service") operated by XtoSCORM ("we", "us", "our").
XtoSCORM provides tools to convert PDF documents, PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX) files, and video files into SCORM-compliant learning packages. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- Service: The XtoSCORM conversion platform.
- User: Any individual or entity using the Service.
- Uploaded Content: Any PDF, PPT, PPTX, video, or file uploaded by you.
- Output: The SCORM package generated by the Service.
- Subscription: Any paid plan or usage-based access.
- Free Plan: Access provided at no charge, subject to limits.
- Paid Plan: Access requiring payment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
3. Description of the Service
The Service allows users to upload PDF documents, PowerPoint presentations, and video content and convert them into SCORM-compliant learning packages compatible with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
4. Accounts
Certain features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
5. User Content & Ownership
You retain full ownership of your Uploaded Content and the Output generated by the Service.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion Service.
We do not claim ownership of your files and do not use them for marketing, resale, or AI training purposes.
6. Data Retention & File Deletion
Uploaded files are stored temporarily for processing. We do not provide permanent storage.
Files may be automatically deleted after processing or after a limited retention period. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of both Uploaded Content and Output files.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not upload content you do not own or have rights to use.
- Do not upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful material.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service.
- Do not misuse system resources or automate excessive requests.
- Do not use the Service for unlawful or abusive purposes.
8. Subscriptions, Fees & Payments
The Service may offer Free Plans and Paid Plans. Fees for Paid Plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, or usage limits at any time with reasonable notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.
9. Refunds & Cancellations
Unless explicitly stated, all payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of your billing cycle.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, branding, website content, and proprietary technology, is owned by XtoSCORM and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without written permission.
11. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party hosting, payment processors, or analytics providers. We are not responsible for third-party outages, service interruptions, or data loss.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or non-payment of fees.
15. Disclaimers
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, compatibility, or fitness of generated SCORM packages for specific LMS platforms.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold XtoSCORM harmless from claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your Uploaded Content or your violation of these Terms.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
